Dr. David Halliday
Prof. David Halliday is an Associate Teaching Professor of Business Strategy at the George Washington University School of Business, where he teaches MBA and undergraduate courses in business ethics and strategy. With a Ph.D. in Business Strategy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MBA in Finance from Yale, and a B.A. in Humanities from Stanford, he brings a rich interdisciplinary perspective to management education. His research explores corporate fraud and the risks posed by myopic investors, blending academic rigor with real-world relevance. Beyond the classroom, Halliday has helped design innovative online learning experiences that integrate video, raw case data, and collaborative discussions. He also served as Board Chair of Elevate: Partners for Education, advancing evidence-based programs in Uganda. Recognized with multiple teaching awards, Halliday is celebrated for his engaging style and commitment to preparing students for ethical, strategic leadership.
